How to Effectively Tutor, Mentor, and Coach Students Diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
I am routinely asked for advice, predominantly from other tutors, about how to improve their effectiveness.
The most common questions have to do with how to reach, and effectively tutor, students diagnosed with ADHD. As a matter of fact, I have had calls from as far away as California and British Columbia. My hat goes off to the young men and women who are seeking out any information that will give them an edge and provide insight into how to help their students.
This video is a bit long…and I didn’t work from a script. That being said, I believe it will help. As a matter of fact, if this video helps just one tutor help one student, then I believe it will have been worth the time…for all concerned.
Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to hone your craft. I hope the information in this video will help both you and your student.
To that end, I wish you all the best! Please let me know what you think! I will try to respond to any questions in a timely manner.
